Designs and special designs
The range covers two basic designs and four special designs. Which design fits follows from medium, pressure, temperature and nominal size.
- Floating ball valves
- The ball is held by the seat rings. The medium pressure presses it against the downstream seat.
- Trunnion-mounted ball valves
- The ball is supported by trunnions in the body. Spring-loaded seat rings provide the seal, also at large nominal sizes and high pressures.
- Special designs
- Metal-seated, cryogenic, fully welded and top-entry ball valves for operating conditions that a standard design does not cover.
